Good vibes only. It really grinds my gears and my gears are becoming unaligned. We post our life on our social media, it’s not the life that we are currently living but an image of what it should be. A dream of a life but no life. We pretend that we are together in this but we are fragmented into little pieces, call it bubbles. We argue, berate and bully each other online as if we figured out our own life. In reality we are all scared, trying to navigate this fast paced reality that we are in. We understand so little and have big opinions. We’ve become addicted to small dopamine hits. Self worth through likes and shares. Constant narcissism to prove to the world that you’re something. It’s an endless cycle of scrolling that diminishes your being and self esteem. Yes we are together in this. We all feel this. It’s our reality after all. A reality that we barely understand. A reality where we get numb on the endless consumption of content that we don’t care about. All hail the machine. All hail the algorithm. All hail the Thicc.
