“DREAM WORLD X” is the final piece in Jacob’s 10 piece genesis collection. It’s the last of three video pieces, each designed to seamlessly loop and all accompanied by custom scored tracks which also loop. The “DREAM WORLD” collection looks at connecting Jacob’s love to travel and his unique experiences, with the surrealism of the real world. These three videos look at specific moments in Jacob’s professional and personal life.
Progression — noun - the process of developing or moving gradually towards a more advanced state.
“Sat on the sand looking out at the immense and futuristic Dubai skyline; it was the first time in a long while that I felt a real sense of progression. A few hours prior I minted my first Dream World piece, it sold instantly and I was hungry to go out and create more. Progression doesn’t come easy though, from the outside it may look like a simple journey but with each stride forward there’s countless setbacks and challenges, I guess in a sense it’s what makes progression feel so good. As I put my drone into the air and flew toward the skyline I imagined myself as the drone, on a journey of progression toward a more advanced state of mind.” - Jacob Riglin
