Sporus 10

Sporus is created with 3D printed prosthetics, which are used to make silicone casts of the artist’s body which are brought back into digital space to compose and render. Each piece is painstakingly arranged and lit to cultivate softness and tenderness in the face of endangered mortality. Sporus forgoes a monument to the self for a presentation of the trans artist’s ongoing entanglement with nature on a cellular level beyond their mortality. The series envisions transness as a seed with room for exponential growth - from mere survival to a vibrant emergence.
