Pat The dog

An improvised, miniature, supernatural thriller, set in a building bricked up for decades in Hastings. It stars writer and composer Jude Montague, with a soundtrack by Geraldine Swayne and Jude Montague, (mixed by Matt Armstrong). We felt time telescoping and experienced voice phenomena while we worked; channeling the lives of the previous occupants to walk companionably in their footsteps. Instead of credits I have used my glass painting 'Witchy in Winchelsea' as illustrative of the other dimensions that we flit through briefly everyday and cannot see, but 'through a glass darkly'. This film will be released as a crypto art work alongside the show, 'Unnatural Women' curated by Rowena Easton, as part of the Women in Art Fair at the Mall Galleries, 11th-14th October 2023.
