Dawn

This morning started at 2am. a solo drive down through the gigantic forests towards the southern coast hoping a kangaroo doesn’t jump out, suiting up in the dark, freezing cold and making the 25 minute jetski ride out into a wild ocean racing the sun. You wake up really quickly. It’s rare for us to be able to get out this early, for it to coincide with huge swells and some sunshine. This was the first wave that came through which let us know what we were in for throughout the day. Dawn.
