The Watcher

located in an extremely remote part of Australia. Raw, untouched and battered by some of the fiercest storm fronts on earth, its an unforgiving place. This Huzzas slab is has a very dark energy attached. Alot of things go wrong down here. it constantly feels like you are being watched. Realistically with the damage to the trailer we got off lightly. A warning. This mesmerising eyeball like entrance, is an invitation to what would be a very bad time. I could not fathom the pain one would experience being skittled along the bottom of this razor sharp barnacle encrusted granite slab hours from any civilisation. A handful of people have attempted to ride this wave. Its still very surreal that I went and took this photo. This trip came with much head noise being that it took three years to get here, the swell was going to be absolutely huge, the winds turned nuclear and the responsibility was all mine. I felt like I was being watched. Grateful I was allowed to witness and return to land safely.
