Out on an unfamiliar ocean before sunrise under a heavily clouded sky, a small window of light winds, good tide and ok swell, at a reef system 3 kilometres out.
It didnt take long for the Phantom to arrive, an imposing wall of water appeared, gliding its way towards me as the undercurrents ripped me towards the shallow reef as its energy wrapped around the bathymetry of the reef, the Phantoms mask revealed itself. Warning me to keep my distance, but glistening of the dappled cloudy light
I was alone, I understood and continually made sure I was repositioning while the ocean so desperately tried to drag me to the centre of the reef. As this moment evolved infront of me I stayed composed and recorded this beautiful moment, witnessed by taking a chance. A memory of the Huzzas Phantom
