Estonia
zentsik.com
Eduard Zentšik is a contemporary Estonian genre-busting artist. It is only at first perusal that his self-positioning as “Unknown Artist Zentšik» is an offer for the spectator to believe into the primacy of the art object over the art source. His ironical understatement of his role in the artistic process is not a give-away game, but an honest-to-goodness statement though a wily one. The main E. Zentšik’s art object is “playing the artist”.

bit.ly/lubomirarsov
A storyteller at heart, Lubomir Arsov works as an animation writer/director. His personal work explores the psychological, parapolitical, and spiritual dynamics that define the momentous time we are collectively navigating. Professionally, he most recently acted as an episodic director of the re-imagined “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” series for Netflix, and is currently writing and directing an animated horror short for an upcoming anthology.

IN-SHADOW – Genesis
Edition 1 of 1

“IN-SHADOW – Genesis”, is the original trailer to the celebrated short film, “IN-SHADOW – A Modern Odyssey”. This 55 second piece introduces the upcoming remastered collection of 55 key images from the cult classic. The collection will mirror the film’s narrative progression, and chronicle the unfolding of human consciousness as it goes through a collective dark night of the soul. Released in 2017, IN-SHADOW was designed as a spark for awakening. Through a tapestry of symbolic imagery, the film invites the viewer to face the entropy of our modern culture, and journey through the underworld of the collective psyche. We are asked to face our complicity in the drama, and empowered to take responsibility for its healing. It moves us through the necessary breakdown of our personal and collective illusions, culminating with the realization of the Self within the dream. The project’s intention is to clarify the mythic crisis our world is moving through. The classic Hero’s Journey is re-contextualized through a modern lens, with the hope of inspiring the viewer to step onto the path of self-realization. This NFT is not for sale, and will remain as an exhibition only, gallery piece. Music by Starward Projections, and compositing by Sheldon Lisoy.

Neo Noir New York: Lost Connection
Edition 1 of 1

Of course I remember her. We burned so bright we crumbled, like a glacier cleaving, melting as we drifted out to sea. When I think of all the reasons I loved her, her laughter stood out the most, how it rose from some unknown place, to rise and pop on the surface like bubbles in champagne. But her glow was the dark sort of light, the flash of fireflies, of glowworms, the phosphorescent blooms that trace the shorelines of undiscovered islands. Within these concrete canyons, above, below, and under it all, there are many thousands of memories, deeply kept in the hearts of those who hold them. Memories can change, and do, for they are as malleable as the minds that make them. But the ones that hold, the moments that rise like peaks through the low fog of time, are the moments that will change you. -Dave Krugman _______________________________________________________ Neo Noir New York is a serialized body of work, featuring the best work from a over a decade of street photography. To me, some photographs evoke narratives, as if they arise from the act of freezing time. Each photograph has its own story embedded in the metadata. These short vignettes add up to tell a deeper story, about what it is like to live and love in New York City. 80% of funds raised from this piece will go towards the development of the tech behind the ALLSHIPS.CO community, and the remaining 20% will be used to directly support up and coming artists in the space, via the ALLSHIPS Artist Fund. This token is also a key to the ALLSHIPS Bridge on our Discord, where I work with token holders to steer the direction of ALLSHIPS and allocate the artist fund to those it will help most. Harajuku 6PM
Edition 1 of 1

“Harajuku 6 PM” depicts a glimpse of the old residential neighborhood I lived in during my time in Tokyo, Japan. This piece explores concepts
of past and present, showing a place that was once intimately familiar but is now viewed only in passing through the opened doors of the quiet subway. Gently-falling petals and the flashing neon signs on the street are reminders that time goes on even after we leave the place we called home, capturing a fleeting moment when the memory of a distant past and dreams collide.

The David Lynch film of Dune was a family favourite since before I could walk. I read the book first when I was 13, and decided there and then that my goal in life was to illustrate it. 27-odd years later that dream was fulfilled when this piece of art was selected as the cover of a new Deluxe Edition of the book, for which I also provided interior illustrations. It’s fair to say this image – originally a homage to a story I have always loved, and now part of its history – is my most important piece to date both professionally and personally. [3000x4385px]

TIME The Future of Business (Beeple Edition)
Edition 1 of 1

“For our May 10th / 17th 2021 issue, artist Mike Winkelmann (aka Beeple) wanted to take our readers inside his “canvas” to depict the stratospheric acceleration of the digitization of our world by creating an image that focused on his artistic process. The cover image depicts his actual computer interface mid design, complete with a wireframe render of a figure interacting on the left and a more complete version on right. He created this digital world using Cinema 4D and OctaneRender software that is powered by nearly a dozen Nvidia graphics cards.” – D.W. Pine, Creative Director of TIME “People have been creating digital artwork for the last 20 years and it has just as much craft, message, intent, as anything made on a canvas and has just as much ability to affect people emotionally and intellectually. It has been exciting through NFT’s to see people start to realize the value of this type of work and I think we’re just at the beginning of the next chapter of art history.” – Beeple

Edition 1 of 1

I remember how your hand touched my hand and my sadness left. I remember the sky being so blue it turned the bird blue and leaked into me. I remember hitting that bird with my car and pulling over and crying because birds with one wing can still fly. I remember too much 4-Acetoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine lead to radical vulnerability leading to nose bleeds on the J train leading to laying on the grass shouting “ I am here i am still here motherfuckers”. I remember the world ended and started again and nobody noticed. I remember having nothing to fear then remembering whiteness. I remember the way your hair smells like spring and how that rested me. I remember rolling down that hill crushing all the orchids. I remember the soft wind kissing my cheek. I remember the death of the empire came and nobody noticed. I remember shoplifting from that trendy downtown store and getting caught but laughing cuz u should steal from white people. I remember yellow flowers opening portals to that elysia crampton song about the waterfalls. I remember the bird wing I carried around in my pocket for weeks until we buried it in my mother’s backyard. I remember the world trying to kill me and shining like a drop of sun. I remember daybreak and the collapse and that sacred air. I remember that time you shit yourself in my living room and we laughed cuz god is good and fuck the haters. I remember merging my body with the sky then nothing at all but the sky and the world standing still and the flowering trees kissing each other slow and the birds and nothing but us in the world being trapped with each other in the world.

The Null
Edition 1 of 1

Starting with our first digital artwork in 2008, we discovered the paradoxical nature of the virtual world and its decentralization. We realized that the key geographical point of all Data that has no particular geolocation is Null Island. We could say that it’s a center of a decentralized world, a place with coordinates 0°N 0°E. This point is located in international waters in the Gulf of Guinea. There we’ve placed the AR version of this NFT which you can see through the Recycle Group app. The spherical object in the ocean reflects the physical and digital environment while also distorting the digital waves. Edition 1 of 1

The year is 2007, had not one clue what I was doing in my life, that time in my life was rough as it is, a friend of mine gave me photoshop so I can learn and create some fun things, I was into mixtapes back then and always wanted to do what those dope mixtape cover artists did, so I tried and this was the outcome and back then I was so proud of myself, It made people laugh but I kinda enjoyed that, It was the first time I entertained people online, that set up me on Myspace as a graphic artist, it was this cover that made me love creating and sharing it is this cover and my approach to sharing online that has got me here today. It is funny how things start and defines the end that comes when we stick to what we love. THIS IS 2007.

Freelance designer & digital artist. Here to present you the CYCLE OF THE SHROOM!

Cycle of the Shroom — Prologue
Edition 1 of 1

The Cycle of the Shroom begins! // Read the full prologue on www.cycleots.com // Art & concept: Stefan Große Halbuer, storytelling & writing: Richard Galbraith //// Layers upon layers, each world has them, each place, each city, each town. Wherever you go, from the vastest megalopolis to the tiniest backwater shithole of an outpost somewhere between here and nowhere, they all have layers, and this place is no different. // The NEO-Budapest Triangle. It stretches from Sofia in the south, up West to Nuremberg and over back East to Old-Warsaw, with NEO-Budapest smack, right in the middle. // A city of approximately 250 million people that rose out of the Black Lake incident. Back when the powers that be pushed the button on the Lincoln Contingency and everything changed. // Crypto and greed have divided the people and piled concrete, and steel, and neon, high-up and driven those without down below. // For so many, building down was the only way to survive after Black Lake. Building up, that was reserved for the few. The ones with the resource and power and connections to keep a glimpse of the sky. Even after the Lincoln Contingency turned it to a permanent, pale ash. // For everyone else, when you’ve got nothing, there’s no place to go other than down. So, when you’re driven into the depths from the cartels, the gangs, the police, the corporations, and everything else, you’ll do anything to find that glimpse of something brighter. To keep hope alive, to keep dreaming of a better day. // That’s what the cartels use. It’s what they’ve been preying on for years now. It’s the reason they sprang up in the first place, and where the shroom came into play. // The sun’s low, the sky the colour of smoke, she’s done her job, spilled blood and severed limbs. Another day in NEO-Budapest, another day working the streets for the Shoomheads. // Venture is the handle she goes by, Katana by her side, shoom vape hooked in. “Why don’t they ever just pay?” she whispers, waiting for the area leader to drop her a message with the location of her next hit. She’s an enforcer, a thug, cartel meat that collects when debts run too high or too long, and she always gets the job done. // Another hard pull on the vape to take the edge off the scenes she’s left behind. // She lets the shroom magic flow into her as she looks up to the sky and sees an explosion of incandescent hues paint themselves across its ashen surface. // This is what they deal in, this vision. // This is what they’ve got NEO-Budapest hooked on, this dream. // And this is the cure the Shroomheads have discovered the most efficient and potent way of manufacturing. // It’s inexpensive, it’s strong, it will take you to another world, and it’s addictive as hell. It’s the escape everyone needs, and Venture and the cartel are hooked in and running the circuit. // They’re here to make sure that when the inhabitants of NEO-Budapest look up, they don’t see the ashen sky; they see a way to escape. They see their dreams, and want to buy more.

the focus of my works deals with the theme of the portrait, expanding it through a recognizable and imaginary aesthetic research. figuration and abstraction come together and starts a dialogue. Painting takes on the role of narrating emotions, the historical memory of the portrait relieves in a new form, the shape of the face and the body becomes a universal trigger, an icon, from here we can start a reflection on the meaning of identity and personality.

Quayola employs technology as a lens to explore the tensions and equilibriums between seemingly opposing forces: real and artificial, old and new. Constructing immersive installations, he engages with and re-imagines canonical imagery through contemporary technology. Landscape painting and classical iconography are some of the historical aesthetics referenced in Quayola’s work. His varied practice, all deriving from custom computer software, also includes audio-visual performance and sculpture.

PP_F_018_1
Edition 1 of 1

PP_F_018_1 is part of an ongoing series started in 2015 focusing on the heritage of landscape painting, and more broadly a reflection on man’s tradition of representing nature. Drawing from Impressionism, Quayola pursues a methodic observation of natural patterns using advanced technological apparatuses. The results of his research are ephemeral algorithmic compositions blending opposite realms: nature and technology, representation and abstraction, and ultimately human and machine. Quayola suggests a new understanding of the natural world, achieved through the collaboration with technology. For PP_F_018_1, inspired by the work of Vincent Van Gogh, Quayola has returned to the same countryside of Provence some 130 years later to capture some of the same iconic natural compositions. The resulting computational paintings are generated by the analysis of ultra-high-definition videos. Employing custom software, the source videos are transformed into algorithmic animations resembling real paint, while simultaneously exploring new digital aesthetics. — The winner of the NFT auction will receive a custom archival box with physical certificates, documentation material, a print and an SD card with a 4k version of the work. A professional video player with the work will also be included. — In collaboration with bitforms gallery. Verisart Certified: https://verisart.com/works/1ac36c73-45a1-41e3-bf57-fa1761d4825a

Ametropia
Edition 1 of 1

The all-seeing eye has been a part of American iconography for centuries. It can be found in hand almost daily, looking up at us from the US dollar bill. Ametropia by Hank Willis Thomas x Wide Awakes is a contemporary re-interpretation of the eye in the spirit of today’s Wide Awakes – a boundless collective. It is an elegy of our collective conscious from our collaborative spirit. The original Wide Awakes engaged ways to re-shift reality through art– they would take old songs and write new lyrics to them, for instance, in a kind of remixing play. The modern day (though time is a construct) Wide Awakes are using these same tools to change the status quo. The Ametropia eye references this experience of waking up to a new awareness and desire for change. Thomas x Wide Awakes push this familiar emblem into a psychedelic space expressing movement. The vocabulary of psychedelia—with its roots in the 1960s counterculture— represents the desire for change. The work includes optical art component – using this static image and forcing one’s mind to see movement and thus question what we know to be true. This symbolically reshapes our outlook, our lens on the world. It purposefully disorients to force us to shift our perspective in order to maintain balance.

patti punk
Edition 1 of 1

My journey with Patti Smith started over 25 years ago and we have been collaborating ever since. In 1999, this image began as a simple Polaroid portrait. Then, in 2005, I converted it into a pixel-based image utilizing an HP scanner and Photoshop software. As part of my ongoing exploration of image and technology, I put together ‘Illumination: Who Are
Poets’, an exhibition in 2011, that featured large-scale polychromatic pixelated portraits of Patti and 11 other artists, derived from my archive. Now, as we enter the era of data intelligence, I am releasing “patti punk”, which reflects a multitude of innovation throughout my career and captures the essence of Patti Smith: Artist, Poet, Activist, Singer-Songwriter and Traveler, affectionately known as the original “Punk Poet Laureate.”
