This surreal piece explores the complex interplay between self and society. Yet the woman's open arms convey an intrinsic drive for inner freedom. Similarly, the encased flowers suggest beauty can blossom even in confinement, through outlets like creative expression. The piece also encapsulates this hope for liberation and desire to shed physical and psychological shackles to live in harmony with one’s intimate self. In its apparent vulnerability, this work in reality depicts a universal quest for personal fulfillment while maintaining a peaceful relationship with the outer world. This artwork was chosen as a winning piece in the open call "Vibe" by Sloika, and curated to be in the SuperRare exhibition in space Montage launched October 10th 2023.
