We divide spaces into smaller spaces which we conquer and live in our solitude. We call that Metropolis.
This artwork is created with code using custom subdivision algorithm which divides a rectangle into 9 pieces recursively. It is made up of 74592 rectangles forming an abstraction of a cityscape and 54940 circles creating an extraterrestrial atmosphere.
