A Rainy Night in Paris - Tired in the Rain

This photographic artwork is a part of my Genesis Collection on SuperRare “A Rainy Night In Paris” and is one of three pieces created in Paris during a 36-hour trip from Zurich. The piece shows a person, walking in the rain at night in front of the famous cafe "Le Consulat" near the Sacre Coeur. I wanted to capture pictures which are telling a story. It should be something totally different to my usual work as a landscape photographer. The person in the photo appears to be yawning, which adds an interesting layer of emotion to the piece. Why is he yawning? Is he just tired, or bored, or nervous? By the way, have you seen the dark person in the background? What is he doing? The raindrops are animated to give the artwork an extra feeling of movement, making it feel as though the person is walking through a rainy night. I wanted to bring the static piece to life, making it feel as though the viewer is right there with the person, experiencing the rain and the night in Paris. The collector will have the option to receive not only the NFT but also a high-quality .mov file and a physical fine-art print of the original photograph. This adds value to the NFT as it offers the collector multiple options to display and appreciate the artwork.
