Official J. Ralph x Shilstone x Method Man collaboration. An animated interpretation of J. Ralph and Method Man’s first encounter. The one-of-a-kind artwork commemorates the chance meeting between the two musical artists in the hallway of Def Jam Recordings circa 1994. Method Man was propelled into a tour-de-force of lyrical flow as J. Ralph played the MC his new beats from cassette tapes on a boombox. It would be decades later before the two artists reconnected and finished one of the "hallway boombox tracks”, while working together on the documentary Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics & Men. The NFT features their original song “93 Bells”, a time capsule tribute through the golden age of hip-hop, with music written and produced by composer J. Ralph and new lyrics by Wu-Tang Clan founding member Method Man, finally completed 25 years later.
