Both the left and the upper edge of the image has a simple repetetive pattern, and the generation of each new cell is always consistently based on its left and upper neighbour. Nevertheless, the pattern seemingly dissolves into chaos just a couple of iterations into the image. \\\\\\\\ Piece made for Kate Vass Galerie's exhibition, “Game of Life, curated by Jason Bailey”.
