When we go through difficulties that make it difficult to control our emotions, sometimes we desperately want to escape into our dreams. I wrote a song and lyrics called ”Deep Dream“ in the early morning one day in 2021, and recorded it recalling the most desperate moment in my life.
This short music video consisted of an image of a bed containing the emotions of the time when there was no personal space and a piece of memory that I tried to escape by expanding my thought into the universe, as a personal space.
I am a painter, but when I was having a hard time in my life, I got a lot of comfort by singing as an indie vocalist. Cats‘ purring is a sound that cats make when they are happy, but it is also known that it is sung to calm themselves down when they are extremely sick. I hope that this piece, which worked the same for me to comfort myself, will also be of little help to someone else.
