ERASED WILDERNESS (COMPLEX GEOMETRIES) Gestural notations that reflect the hidden atmospheric traits within the landscape, brought to the surface to split and shimmer. Spliced and fractured, yet a balance remains, an unstable harmony. Fleeting etchings pass in and out of focus, leading the eye here and there. Akin to the sensation of floating anomalies passing our field of vision or witnessing multiple half caught memories all within a single brief moment. Shapes bloom and burn, undulate, and pulse. They exist somewhere between consuming and echoing the inner force of the flora and man made structures that they obscure. They are both voids and sublime pauses within these hazy shrouded lands. In between, when the haze clears and those lines and shapes dissipate, details emerge. The overlooked and under seen are spoken for with the care and caress an old hand of someone who has travelled far and traced the land. Paces are taken beyond the ordinary trails, and a singular focus is applied.
