Grotto

Following on from both Venarum Actuator and Clandestine, the discovery of this subterranean grotto has confirmed our recent suspicions. Cockaigne and/or associates has been working within the fields of cellular agriculture and bioscaffold development, seeking appropriate ‘hosts’ on which to grow isolated meat cells. Until now, the experiments were small-scale, laboratory level endeavours, but this underground discovery points to a scientist on the brink of mass-production. A whole tree, supported in a steaming broth of living material grows not only ruby-like leaves, but also perfectly formed lamb-chops, successfully melding plant and animal life. What is still unclear is whether the ‘taboo’ mentioned in the newspaper found in Clandestine refers to this, or to something more sinister yet to be revealed.
