Spanish Rose

This portrait was inspired by Catherine of Aragon, the Spanish Princess and later Queen of England. Before traveling to England to marry, she spent a few years at the breathtaking Moorish palace, the Alhambra, in Granada, which is where I photographed the backdrop of this portrait. The model was photographed later in my studio in Canada.
