We had seen pictures of **Segla**, one of the most recognizable mountains in Norway, numerous times. The hike was straightforward (and quite steep), and we were looking forward to iconic views and sweeping fjords as far as the eye could see!
Of course, reality and the weather had other plans for us. Once we got halfway up the mountain itself, a cloud bank rolled in off the ocean and surrounded us on all sides! The peak of Segla was just above them, and it felt like we were surrounded by countless other little islands in the sea of clouds...
