“…i ended up writing this description between phases of my life.. i’ve always wanted to use descriptions of my artworks as storytelling/time stamps for the curious….what feels like a blog post maybe, or just a deeper connection between me & my artworks.. at the time of writing this i’m in New Orleans.. (it feels so nice to hear ‘welcome home’..) there’s a lot that makes me want to cry when i think about how far i’ve come from when i first started trying to make my way through life with only just my art.. ive experienced a lot of kismet moments between discovering who i am & where i want to be, ive made fond memories here.. one recently coming back to me, sitting on top of the naval base, day drunk, eyes watery gazing into the skyline—from ‘where i first began-my spawning point’… deep in the Bywater near The End of the World.. time sure does a number on the things we love. i’ve explored God’s Country through my art.. i’ve been blessed enough to make tons of friends along the way… life is fragile & full of meaning, i hope i’m able to restore a deeper sense of belonging in this world through my art, i’m always here for you.”
