There is a particular kind of anger that comes with grief. It has no direction, no one to blame, nowhere to go.
It is anger at time for moving forward, at the world for remaining unchanged, at the unbearable unfairness of losing someone we love.
Sometimes it feels like something alive inside us, growing beyond our control, threatening to consume everything around it.
Perhaps anger is love confronted with its own powerlessness.
