Sometimes when I look into the mirror I wonder if it's a sentient entity looking back, observing what we aren't able to perceive of ourselves.
What if we are just descendants of self replicating organic robots that escaped from a lab which just keeps repeating the original programming, but evolving and refining itself over the generations?
