In Greek mythology, Melpomene (Μελπομένη, lit. 'the one that is melodious') is the Olympian Muse of tragedy; the Nine Muses are the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, figuring as personifications of knowledge and the arts.
The main colours in this artwork are powerful deep reds, dark blues, and greens with a hint of bright yellows reflecting mainly intensity, passion, and darkness as well as hope for a change to something better.
This NFT is part of the collection "Abstract Musings", a set of ten: Nine Olympian Muses, plus the bonus piece "Όλυμπος και Άδης (Olympos and Hades)" which will be sent to one collector randomly picked among the holders of this collection once it is sold out.
