"Where Art Thou ?" is an interlude in the series "Memories of Distant Worlds" which is dedicated to the often unknown trauma a single born survivor of twins, triplets, etc ... carries within for all of it's life.
The Vanishing Twin Syndrome is perhaps the earliest and most intimate trauma any living creature can suffer. The symptoms translate themselves into an eternal search for the other(s) and a specific set of patterns that were burned into the core of their being.
Recent study shows that 1 in 8 people would have been part of a multiple birth, which I think is a mind-boggling number given the impact this has on our lives.
