Puppet Controller

The “Puppet Controller” explores the quiet mechanics of psychological and social manipulation, how power operates not through force, but through influence. At the core stands a single figure, subtly directing the thoughts, emotions, and behaviours of the surrounding cast. Each character responds differently; one aware, the others compliant and resisting, but all affected. Rather than depicting control as overt domination, the work focuses on the creative, often invisible ways influence moves through language, gesture, proximity, and belief. “Puppet Controller” asks where agency begins and ends, and how much of what we consider “choice” is shaped by unseen hands.
