Combining 1980’s / 1990’s skate and surf imagery with digital motion + graphic design, this series continues my exploration of analog futurism both as a concept and as a visual style. These pieces are a visceral working through of the fragile and forever unfolding nature of people intermixed with pop-culture references from a visually specific era in graphic design. This series was conceived and completed while I recovered from two surgeries directly connected to decades of skateboarding and surfing.
