52 sings that read "Community", represent the 52 neighborhood groups of Palm Springs.
The directional roadsigns point in every direction, leading the viewer to the same "place", and thus the same conclusion; community is everywhere.
The visual mass of text signage reimagines a very literal and common object, turning it into abstract art.
