A unique perspective where the sand dunes resemble ocean waves approaching a shoreline. This was photographed from my approach into one of the locations studied. This ecosystem required a hike through bushland to access, It felt like being on the set of the hollywood movie Jumanji, at the base of these dunes as a bull ants nest featuring the biggest ants you have ever seen. Luckily I had work protection on my legs and was able to scamper up the side of the dune with limbs flying in all directions trying to shake them off.
