As I prepare myself to travel to the tallest sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere, I had a little moment, A smile, gratitude in my heart for what my journey in art has turned itself into, and for the ability to create it.
Im fairly nervous, I will be driving 16 hours to the bottom edge of Australia, the last 3 hours will be through the bush to the coast. I hope the land smiles on me.
I hope to stand at the base of these massive dunes.
In that moment when I stare up at them
Im going to smile.
And then I will say thankyou.
And then I will do my very best to create some art that is beautiful.
And then hopefully you will smile.
