With the scale of the landscape and the 40 knot winds winds blasting sand, it wasn't easy to traverse the landscape, Being so remote with no assistance I didn't want to risk getting stuck and weather having turning I cut the trip short and while I know I did my best in the time I had I don't feel I even came close to capturing the essence of this special place. I left knowing a return expedition is required to properly document this place and progress my ability in this realm both creatively and as an individual. There is a plateau of repetition needed in my craft as an artist, like anyone we get better by doing.
I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to showcase parts of this earth that are hard to get to. I do not take this for granted and will continue to work hard to improve both myself and my craft.
