With the amount of weather that moves past here, and the end of a cliff system, almost seemed to feed into where these dunes are located. there was a big long wasteland like approach where south easterly winds seem to have blasted the sand westward, creating a very dramatic landscape that was even more enhanced by an approaching storm front.
