LE BEAU

Le Beau was a handsome devil with his head perpetually in the clouds. A master of French Basque cuisine, he ran his little bistro up in the Hollywood Hills with flair and beauty. He was famous for serving up oodles of buttery omelettes, rich red plates of Piperade and towering Basque cheesecakes, all made to old recipes. Despite his anarchist soul, Le Beau also harboured an obsession with abstract design, finding beauty in the most unexpected places. He believed that abstraction whispered to him through the intricate lace folds of the clouds. Hence the location of his bistro, right up in the clouds that kiss the L.A. skyline.
