Greener Pasture

A couple of years ago, my wife and I took a vacation down the East Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. We had just been through a really rough period in our life with a significant amount of deaths and personal losses and were in need of some much needed R&R. Not long after we pulled up to our accommodation, I went for a therapeutic photo walk around the local town in hopes of finding something interesting to photograph. It was when I came across this field of cows grazing that I felt my soul and mind breathe, it's amazing what nature can do for you when you just stop and take it in. I pulled up my camera and snapped a pic, a moment frozen in time to remind myself that even in great loss, there will always be greener pasture to come.
