Slow Burn
When I was a kid I burned my hand on a hot stove. Despite my parents' efforts to keep me away, I was too curious, which became a key lesson. As kids, we push our limits and learn from negative experiences. We take fewer risks as we get older, realizing the rewards may not be what we hope. Keeping our hand to the flame keeps us from living a slow burn.
