“Flora” is the sixth artwork in the Corroded Horizons Collection which combines the ethereal beauty of natural scenery with the jarring disruption of glitch work. The landscapes are purposefully manipulated causing the once harmonious scenes to fracture and distort. These visual disruptions serve as a visual manifestation of the detrimental influence that human activities have had on the planet.
The corroded nature of the artworks serves as a metaphorical reflection of the various ways humanity has influenced and damaged the environment. It embodies the consequences of climate change, pollution, deforestation, and other ecological challenges, which have fractured the delicate balance of our planet's ecosystems.
The Corroded Horizons Collection prompts us to reconsider our relationship with nature, reminding us that we possess the power to either continue fracturing our world or work towards healing and preserving it for future generations.
