Greetings from Rhodes Island

This year tourists flocked to the Mediterranean as if the climate crisis did not exist. What happened was that in the end thousands of them ended up being evacuated on the Greek island of Rhodes after wildfires ravaged large parts of the island. As of today, November 10, weather agencies are almost certain that 2023 will be the hottest year ever recorded on the planet.
