Titled “The Constant Unknown,” the layered distortions suggest our limited ability to definitively capture oneself or others in fixed images.
As the subject’s self perpetually shifts across simulated motion, the work abandons singular representation. Instead it alludes to the mystery underlying being. Revelations seem available, yet beyond concrete grasp.
Approaching this piece, viewers gaze through lenses deemed sufficient alone, yet fragments fail to encapsulate the whole. Thus the artwork inspires self-questioning about self-certainty. For in celebrating uncertainty, we find beauty manifest through life’s unfinished movements.
