This painting was born from a dream where I found myself waiting for my love in a flowing blue dress, within Botticelli's world. The character of Saint Mary has been a profound source of inspiration, allowing me to express my deepest emotions. In this portrayal, I sought to reimagine her as a modern woman, boldly venturing to meet her lover draped in a captivating blue robe, falling deeply into love. The lipstick stain adorning a cup at her side symbolizes her affection and fearless spirit.
