I can feel every cord, and every fiber of those cords charging. Locking in the potential before I launch the kinetic. God the snap of that release like a champagne cork. I feel the knuckles compress as the air pops in the space between, and the force cuts through an object like a cleaver. The heat soars higher, and I... I know it's just a dream. I can feel my eyes in my ears, and my breath in the stubble on my head. I know this isn't real, gladiators have no place off the sand these days. I'll wake up in a moment, and dream another dream through the tip of my pen.
