Humor is possibly one of the most valuable gift we possess, and to apply humor in my own way gives me great pleasure. I like to play with our comprehension of physics, biology, history and eroticism; bending one to meet the other, which creates my own aesthetic and narrative – a stylistic device that allows me to surprisingly pass on my fantastic stories and anecdotes to the audience.
In this piece I reversed the roles of the butterfly and the flower to create this funny little animation based on my traditional artwork on glass. And so, also the title is really just a play on words.
