After ingesting Ayahuasca and Wachuma (ancient Peruvian sacraments meant to induce visions of the divine), I painted the source white canvas with black acrylic ink. I used Mirror Lab to create a kaleidoscopic fragment of the resulting digital image. I then applied an AI-assisted style transfer using a pattern from the Wari tribe in Peru (dated to 7th to 9th century A.D.) from a textile back onto the digital image.
