A backpacking trip into the Selkirk mountains in 2017 was warm and beautiful. We made out way to the north side of Mt Begbie and set up camp. During the night the wildfire smoke moved into the area and cast an eerie mood over the surrounding mountains.
Looking back towards Revelstoke Mountain Resort the layers of peaks caught my eye and I captured this image before heading out climbing for the day.
