I wanted to bring the crypto to art, the digital to physical, make the worlds collide. This is what I came up with. A live feed of ethereum price presented through the threads of the canvas.
16" x 20" Acrylic and Spray Paint on Canvas.
4" 800 x 480 px LCD display powered by a Raspberry Pi Zero W.
Price from coingecko api, refreshes on 30 second intervals.
If the market is green/red the octopus on the display reflects it.
Ticker App was built by me from scratch and can be found on my [Github]( https://github.com/i-hodl/ethticker)
This app runs on a slightly modified FullPageOs, where the index and splash page were changed. This allows for the price ticker to go live shortly after booting up. No user input necessary.
