Something begins to divide
long before it breaks.
A thought too heavy to contain.
A feeling that refuses a single shape.
It splits —
not into opposites,
but into two truths that cannot coexist.
One learns to remain still.
The other learns to burn.
And between them,
in the silent fracture,
the omen takes form.
Not as a warning of what will come,
but as proof
that it has already begun.
The Split Omen.
