Depths of Earth

The sight of a lone humpback whale is unmatched. Their graceful temperament paired with natural aura is enough to fill anyone with bewilderment. They are the true voyagers of the deep, each with a different story to tell. On a late afternoon in August of 2021, I was about to head home from my local vantage point after patiently waiting for several hours to get a glimpse of some whales. As I began flying my drone back to the shore, a lone humpback appeared from the depths below. With very little battery left on the drone, I had only moments to capture its movements. As fast as this lone whale had appeared, it descended into the depths of the earth - continuing on its journey through the unknown.
