The Hermit

The Hermit tells you to take time to reflect and be in your own company. Whether it’s spending time doing self reflection, meditating or just having some me-time, growth and healing often happen in the quiet. I wanted to draw a toad for one of my Major Arcana cards, since they’re all inspired by Witches and their familiars, with a toad of course being one of the most common familiars in stories. Toads are also solitary and often look like they’re contemplating things, so I felt he suited The Hermit well. Of course the toad had to have a toadstool to sit on!
