The Sun

The Sun is one of the cards I’m always the happiest to see in a reading. It’s probably the most positive, signifying happiness, success and abundance. If you draw The Sun in a tarot it’s a true indication that things will go well. Roosters are often associated with sunrise because they (theoretically) crow to greet the sun. In reality they crow all the time. However, their noise is still the stereotypical indication of dawn, often used in movies, cartoons and series, making them a good animal to represent the sun and day.
