Mantras are not in reality and words but in one's own practice and understanding.
The grand Buddha statues stand in silence on the endless stairs of pilgrimage. As the chanting music progresses, the ascending stairs lead to an endless path. The tiny people on the steps represent you and me, each on our own path. Our steps are shrouded in mist, yet our paths and destinations are different.
