A Child of the void, The Nocturnis exists as a walking nightmare, it can change forms based on the nightmares it consumes from the minds of the beings it invades. It can also take the form of things within non nightmarish and more soothing dreams, but merely chooses not to. It assimilates nightmares by invading the minds of those that carry them and removing them entirely from the memory of its host and storing them for use whenever it sees fit.
