Falling free into the deep
Heavy headed, crashing through walls near the end
But in a consciouness I have designed,
I am bird lost in the clouds, far above my troubles,
Lost still.
Trapped beneath the weight of what has become of my existence
There is no breaking free from these cages
But in a consciousness I have designed,
I wield a sledgehammer, remodelling my entrapment into a castle,
Entrapped still.
Drowned in the waters I fetched to quench my thirst
It is a marriage between the blue of my grief and the blue of this ocean.
But in a consciousness I have designed,
I enjoy this ceremony, for where else could I wash this pain away?
Drowning still.
