This photo, taken on 35mm film, shows an old, abandoned farmhouse in Iceland. This forgotten home sits on the sea's edge, framed by a backdrop of grassy foothills.
While capturing this image, I imagined that at one point this structure may have been the heart of a family's world. Morning light pierced through its windows, and sea-soaked air enveloped its walls.
Now, as it stands forgotten, the silence around it holds a different weight, heavy with nostalgia. It's a monolith of memory, reminding me of the impermanence of human life and the enduring quality of the natural world.
